The SKS-CL Academy as it is called, plans to provide primary education till third standard using national open school syllabus by leveraging technology. Under the agreement, CL would manage and run the schools, while SKS would provide marketing and promotion support along with financial support in terms of education loans.
SKS would provide loans of upto Rs 3,100 to its members for ensuring quality education to their children. The schools are intended to run at a fraction of regular fees and the monthly fee for KG and Class I is expected to be Rs 175.
It'll be interesting to note how the logistics of this initiative are managed, as the challenge is to provide children with access to good teachers and infrastructure.
This is certainly a great step in extending quality education to a broader set of people. Wish the CL-SKS team all the success!
